open_questions:
- Which offer should be validated first: readiness audit, workshop, survey, roadmap, execution support, ongoing partner, or community membership?
- What is the minimum sellable package and where does the £5k-£10k hook fee break through procurement friction?
- Should the readiness wedge include post-migration footprint expansion and under-utilized-suite review, not only pre-migration readiness?
- Which parts of the diagnostic can be productized as role-based maturity assessment without overclaiming software readiness?
needs_validation:
- Validate offer appetite with Rich and target companies.
- Validate whether public-sector and university accounts would buy a small diagnostic workshop before larger roadmap or implementation work.
- Test the paid discovery sprint against at least two reachable accounts and one partner/practitioner before promoting it as the launch offer.

Ant sees possible Max Connect offers including readiness audit, education/thought leadership, a useful information repository or website, self-serve survey, consultative audit, workshops, upgrade plan, execution support, ongoing partner relationship, and community layer.
The most coherent early wedge appears to be a paid discovery / readiness / ITT-support sprint, not generic education or a visible software product. The 2026-07-24 NotebookLM recalibration strengthened the case that the wedge should not be limited to pre-migration readiness: a post-migration health check / footprint-expansion review may be equally important where enterprise-suite buyers are only using a small fraction of Maximo/MAS capability.
The 2026-07-27 founder/partner recalibration strengthens this again and makes the package more concrete: the first sellable entry should be a low-friction diagnostic priced around a £5k-£10k hook fee, using software-assisted role-based maturity assessment internally to make discovery faster, clearer and more repeatable. Larger roadmap, retained-advisory and tooling revenue should be earned from patterns discovered in these paid sprints rather than asserted on day one.
Open questions
- Which offer maps to the strongest buyer urgency?
- What should be free/public versus paid/advisory?
- Does Max Connect deliver implementation or remain vendor-neutral and partner-led?
- Is the first sellable version a low-cost diagnostic workshop for isolated internal platform owners and large under-utilized public-sector accounts?
- Which diagnostic artefacts are strong enough to become the repeatable product spine?
Amendment log
- 2026-07-24: Recalibrated after Stephanie Neves MAS Unlocked 2 intake strengthened the post-migration footprint-expansion / health-check wedge.
- 2026-07-27: Rich/Andrew founder-partner recalibration strengthened the paid discovery/readiness sprint as the lead wedge and narrowed the first package toward a £5k-£10k software-assisted diagnostic.
